1st Blood Draw

Lisa went and got her blood drawn today so they can do all the first trimester tests. We are praying that all will go well, but are prepared for whatever comes our way. I guess we will get the results at the 1st OB exam in January, unless there are concerns. I hope they will call if there are problems???? Anyway, also got the packet of info for 1st time moms. It is my list of no nos and such.

On a side note I want to just say how much I dislike rude people. The lady in the lab today was just rude and I think that is horrible. I was actually excited to get my blood drawn because it a part of the whole pregnancy experience and left almost in tears. The more I think about it the more frustrated I get. So, I am going to call the doctor's office her in a bit to make a formal complaint. Thanks for letting me rant.

How this started

Welcome everyone to our blog. So, you should know how this adventure started. First there was a Brent and then there was a Lisa. 4 years ago these 2 met, a year latter married, and now PREGNANT. On December 10th, we took a pregnancy test and it had 2 pink lines. Brent in a desire to confirm and double check went and bought a digital test. And that said "pregnant", too. So, since the doctor doesn't want to do any confirmation or anything we are going with PREGNANT. Today is 4 weeks 4 days (they count it very weird). We are very excited and want to share our next 8 months with all of our family and friends. Right now the due date is tentatively August 19, 2009.
